Wrexham midfielder Luke Young’s contract has been extended until the end of the 2020/21 season.
A trigger to allow the extension in the 27-year-old’s contract has been activated, allowing both parties to agree to a further 12 months.
A contender for Player of the Season, the popular Devon-born midfielder has made 39 appearances for the club this season, scoring three goals.
Young said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to play as many games as I have, to stay injury-free and be fit – it’s probably been the most consistent season I’ve had for a while. I can’t have too many complaints on a personal note.
“The incentive was there to play as many games as I can, and I’ve reaped the rewards with another year’s contract.”
