Wrexham have signed Leighton McIntosh on a one-year deal.
A Dundee native, the 26-year-old came through the youth system at Dundee before turning out for Montrose, Peterhead, UMF Selfoss, Arbroath and then Airdrieonians last season.
Standing at 6 foot 1, McIntosh can operate as a central striker or a wide man. He made 34 appearances for the Scottish League One club last season, scoring 17 goals along the way and capping his season off with a hat-trick against Stranraer.
McIntosh told the club’s website: “It’s a really good opportunity for me to come down here and I’m over the moon. It’s a new challenge for me coming down from Scotland and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
“I can play out wide or through the middle as a striker and I like to get on the end of the last defender. I’m sure I can cause a lot of problems for opposition.”
