Wrexham have confirmed the signing of striker Mike Fondop-Talom.
The 24-year-old joins on a two-year contract and becomes new manager Sam Ricketts’ second signing.
Joining Guiseley last October, the Cameroonian forward score three goals for the Vanarama National League relegation battlers. He then joined FC Halifax Town on loan, making 12 appearances and netting four goals.
Now Sam Ricketts has identified the frontman as an important piece in his plan for 2018/19.
Ricketts told Wrexham’s website: “Mike is a really good player. He is a real hot prospect we identified as a target really early on and I’ve been waiting to make a move for him since.
“We have beaten off lots of interest from others, including Football League clubs, so I’m obviously delighted he has signed here at Wrexham.”
