Trialist Ferdinand Takyi has signed non-contract forms with Wrexham.
The German-born striker is 23-years-old and has played for several clubs in his homeland after coming through the ranks with Eintracht Braunschweig. This brought him to the attention of selectors in Ghana and he has represented them at U19 level.
Ferdinand has also played in Latvia with current champions FK Spartaks, including several games in the 2015/16 Europa League.
Moving to the UK, as he has family in the London area, he has had trials with AFC Wimbledon, Grimsby Town, Yeovil Town, Reading and West Bromwich Albion – playing an U23 game for the Baggies as a trialist.
