Accrington Stanley have signed former player Bobby Grant on loan from National League side Wrexham until the end of the season.

The left winger, now 29, came through the ranks with the Reds and became the second youngest player to appear in the EFL for Stanley, at 16 years and 309 days, in the final game of the 2006/7 season at MK Dons.

He joined Wrexham on loan in 2018 before a permanent deal in January 2019, as Wrexham finished fourth before losing in the play-offs.

He has scored seven league goals this season.

“We know what Bobby is all about, we know what we are getting with him and we know he will work his socks off for us to help us win games and keep us in League One,” said manager John Coleman.

“He knows how me and Jimmy (Bell) operate and he will be prepared to run through brick walls for us.”
