Halesowen Town manager John Hill has further bolstered his squad with another double signing.
Defensive midfielder Jack Alexander is the first of today’s two signings. The 20 year old started his footballing career with Liverpool U-19’s before moving to Bristol City in 2014 before moving to Eastleigh.
In 2016 Jack moved to Hampshire based AFC Totton initially on loan before signing for the Stags.
Jack impressed in Halesowen’s 3-1 victory over Spalding United on Saturday and will be a very good addition to the squad prior to the season’s opener at Workington.
In addition to Jack, William Mellors-Blair has signed on loan from Solihull Moors, Nottingham born Wil trained with the Manchester United Academy before signing for Walsall between 2003 and 2011, after which he spent time in the States and played for Detroit City FC before returning to England with Solihull Moors.
Wil can play attacking midfield and also up front, and like Jack went straight into the squad that faced Workington on Saturday.
