Darren Sarll rates Yeovil Town goalkeeper Stuart Nelson as the best in the Vanarama National League “by an absolute mile”.
The shot-stopper provided the manager with his biggest positive in The Glovers’ otherwise disappointing 1-1 draw against Stockport County at Huish Park on Saturday.
Nelson was called into action shortly after the break to deny Elliot Osborne before getting down low to keep out an effort from substitute Adam Thomas.
“He’s the best goalkeeper in this league by an absolute mile, there’s no question about that,” Sarll said.
“That’s why we don’t concede too many goals.
“We now need to complement that box with the other box and make sure we are more effective, ruthless, violent in their box and make sure we can kill games off.”
