Yeovil Town’s young forward Alfie Lloyd has signed for Queens Park Rangers.
The 18-year-old makes the step up for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year contract with the west Londoners.
Lloyd made his senior debut for Yeovil against Hartlepool United in the National League back in November.
After his move was confirmed, he told the Glovers’ website:
“It was a great opportunity to work with someone like (manager) Darren (Sarll), who has a great reputation for developing young players, and I was able to experience that firsthand. (Assistant) Terry (Skiverton) had valuable advice and experience of what it was like to play at the highest level.
“I would also like to thank Mark Challen for his great work with me and the rest of the youth team for the last two years.”
