York City have confirmed that two of their players have been sent out on loan.

Kaine Felix has moved on loan to National League North side Stockport County.

The 21-year-old will remain at Edgeley Park until the New Year after signing a two-month deal.

Since joining the Minstermen in the summer from Boston United, the winger has made a total of 12 league appearances, the last of which came in the 2-2 draw against Sutton United at the end of last month.

Centre back Jack Higgins agreed a loan spell with their Vanarama National League rivals Southport.

The 25-year-old has signed a season-long deal with Steve Burr’s Sandgrounders.

Since arriving from Stalybridge Celtic in the summer, Higgins has made 15 league appearances for the Minstermen, the last of which came in the 2-2 draw with Sutton United at the end of October.
