York City’s new loan signing Joe Ironside has admitted he doesn’t know what his future holds beyond January, report the York Press.

The 25-year-old Kidderminster forward has joined the Minstermen for two months, having netted more than 20 goals in each of his last two seasons operating at National League North level.

But the ex-England C international has found himself out of favour at Aggborough in recent weeks and has confessed that he is now just focussing on doing his best in every game for City, saying: “I’m not sure what will happen beyond January and will just be focussing on the next game as they come along.

“This is a massive club that, hopefully, I can help move in the right direction. I like to score goals and, if I can get in between the sticks, I’ll be looking to put the ball in the back of the net.”
