York City have placed their players and staff on furlough.
Like many clubs during the current shutdown of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, York say the club is now no longer operational and the offices will be closed.
Chairman Jason McGill said: “This virus and the current crisis that surrounds us all is bigger than the club and bigger than football.
“So, for now, we urge supporters to take this time to focus on their health and that of their family and friends.
“From everyone at the club, thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again soon.”
On the pitch, Steve Watson’s team are current National League North leaders (albeit with 2nd-place King’s Lynn Town two points behind with two games in hand).
