Defender Daniel Rowe has joined York City following his released from Wycombe Wanderers – and has quickly declared an ambition to get the club promoted.
Rowe, 22, has been training with the Minstermen for the last two weeks and has now agreed a contract which runs until summer 2019.
“I have been looking for clubs to sign for, closer to home, and York was the standout option,” said Rowe – whose professional debut actually came at Bootham Crescent, as a substitute for Rotherham in a Johnstone Paint Trophy tie in October 2013.
