Southern Counties East League Premier Division club Eastbourne United AFC have bolstered their squad by bringing in two young players on loan.

Highly-rated young midfielder Dylan Gifford joins on loan from Bostik League Premier neighbours Lewes.

Gifford previously spent time at Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion`s academy and has been involved with the Rooks` first-team this season.

Boro were delighted to get their man as no less than seven other clubs were interested in taking him on loan.

Also joining is Gifford`s former Lewes team-mate, central defender Alfie Headland, who joins on loan from Bostik South East side Hastings United.

Headland came through the ranks at the Dripping Pan and only moved to the Pilot Field earlier this season.
