New Dover Athletic signing Ade Yusuff is determined to prove himself at National League level following his move from Dulwich Hamlet.

The 25-year-old striker penned a contract with the Whites on Thursday until the end of the season after the National South side agreed to release the forward.

Yusuff has moved up two leagues since the end of last season, having left Isthmian Premier outfit Folkestone Invicta in the summer for Dulwich.

The striker spent a month out on loan at fellow National South side Tonbridge Angels in the early part of the season, but has now moved up another division.

Playing in the Football League is an ambition of Yusuff’s, having previously done so for Dagenham & Redbridge, but the forward is keen to show he is good enough to do so through his performances for Dover Athletic.

“I’m at a good age, my best years are ahead of me, but this is the step that I needed to take,” Yusuff said.

“I think I’ve deserved it, the chance to step up to this level. Now it’s all about me getting my head down, taking it and working hard.”
